As a result of climatic change, in the year 2050 the beach of La Concha will have disappeared. The visionary company No Future Beach Corporation has foreseen the upcoming catastrophe and has decided to transform the catastrophe into a new good investment: Purchase sand today from La Concha and wait for it to increase in value. The participants of Dinamik(tt)ak elaborated all the phases of the imaginary communication plan of No Future Beach Corp.: graphic design, idea, press campaign, marketing etc….
Via the use of irony and pretence, this plan raises such questions as the environmental sustainability and the development model based on the exploitation without limits of the natural resources. It is also a good opportunity to think about the arts - creativity – as a good communication tool, which serves at the same time to sell sand from La Concha beach in order to protest against a consumer society.
