WOULD YOU VOLUNTEER OR WORK?

Astialdi Foroa have invited us to take part in TIPI TOPA, an open process to (re) think about leisure and educational leisure time. It will take place during the end of the year and next year, going through several stages (dialogues, meetings and networking) and different actions.

For the time being, we are preparing ¿VOLUNTAREAS O TRABAJAS? (WOULD YOU BE VOLUNTEER OR A WORKER), a proposal for reflexive-proactive action between peers, in order to jointly analyse issues in reference to the professionalization of the volunteer/monitoring areas.

A conference for youth agents, base volunteers, schools and training officers of Leisure Time (LT) or any person interested and/or committed to the problematical issue of the volunteer in LT and its professionalization.

It will be held on Saturday, 13 December, 2008 at the Carlos Abaitua hostel in Vitoria-Gasteiz.
The workshop is free and there are still places available.

Throughout the day, there will be various actions taking place that combines reflexion, expression, debate and analysis about the (re)think of the volunteer in LT in today's society. Starting from the specific points - the profile and training of the monitor - to propose new questions (and, we hope, answers) to today's actual situations.
